These components combine to create an unpleasant feeling that is typically associated with uneasiness, apprehension, fear, or worry. Anxiety is a generalized mood condition that can often occur without an identifiable triggering stimulus. As such, it is distinguished from fear, which occurs in the presence of an observed threat. Additionally, fear is related to the specific behaviors of escape and avoidance, whereas anxiety is the result of threats that are perceived to be uncontrollable or unavoidable. Another view is that anxiety is "a future-oriented mood state in which one is ready or prepared to attempt to cope with upcoming negative events" suggesting that it is a distinction between future vs. present dangers that divides anxiety and fear. Anxiety is considered to be a normal reaction to stress. It may help a person to deal with a difficult situation, for example at work or at school, by prompting one to cope with it. I was wondering if there's a imbalance that causes these anxieties or is it being shy in a group of people or in a crowd. Is it an condition you can overcome with counceling. Hey man... in all honesty all you can do is take it one step at a time. Yeah, that mountain looks huge. The hurdles, the pits, the valleys and crevaces... and with your own perceived shortcommings... But you will never get to where you want to be unless you take that first step. Then you take a second step... next thing you know, you are closer to where you want to be than where you were... as long as you just keep on taking steps. so see what it is that you want, the end result, then work backwards... and start to take steps.
